An Imari oval dish with reticulated rim painted and gilt with Buddhist lions and chrysanthemums -- 11½in. wide; and a Chinese export dish painted in green enamels and gilt with butterflies and birds among flowers and fruit surrounding a central crest and motto 'Audentior Ito' -- 9¾in. diam, circa 1810.
