An Inlaid Celadon Stoneware Bowl
Koryo dynasty (12th-13th century)
Circular, with petal rim and resting on a raised ring foot, inlaid in the interior in white and iron slip with six cranes flying amongst scalloped clouds above a central white-slip medallion of a chrysanthemum within a pulloch'o collar, an additional band of foliage inlaid below the lip; the exterior of the bowl inlaid with successive bands of foliage, cranes and chysanthemums and contiguous stiff leaves; the bowl also decorated by a glossy celadon glaze with long crackle
