Signed in inlaid silver Nihon saikyo ju Nakamura sei, Meiji Period (19th century)
The eight-lobed vase and cover on four feet worked in gilt and silver hirazogan, takazogan and nunomezogan with eight roundels containing the Eight Views of Omi (Lake Biwa) on geometric grounds, the cover with grape vines and further geometric patterns
