The cylindrical cover deeply carved with a poetic inscription and the slightly tapering shaft of the pen finely carved with a pheasant perched on a branch bearing large peony blossoms and leafy clusters, growing from pierced rockwork, all between key-fret bands (extremity nicks)
10 3/8 in. (26.3 cm.) overall length, wood box
