WANG XISAN, DATED TO THE SUMMER OF THE GUICHOU YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1973
Of flattened, tapered form carved with elongated mask and ring handles on the narrow sides, finely painted on the interior on either side with squirrels amidst pine boughs in the moonlight, with one side inscribed and describing the scene, followed by the signature of the artist and one seal
