AN ITALO-CORINTHIAN POTTERY PYXIS, the biconical body decorated with a frieze of a grazing goat, a panther and a lion, rosettes in the field, blocks of rays around lower body, rays around flat everted rim -- 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high; and an Italo-Corinthian alabastron, with flattened base, the body decorated with encircling bands and lines, rays below the ribbed shoulder, concentric circles around everted rim -- 6¼ in. (16 cm.) high, both 6th Century B.C. (2)
