A very similar ivory raft carving constructed in the same way with separate parts was included in the exhibition Chinese Ivories from the Kwan Collection, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, 28 July to 14 October 1990, p.308, no. 154. See also another similar raft carving, The Minor Arts of China IV, Spink, London, 4 - 21 April 1989, p. 40, no. 46.
