Identical tiles to these decorate the walls of the mosque in the government building in Kutahya. They are all modelled on the 16th century Iznik tiles which decorate the tomb of Sehzade Mustafa in Bursa (circa 1555). A panel of four similar tiles is published in Sebnem Akalin and Hülya Yilmaz Bilgi, Kütahya Tiles and Pottery in the Suna & Inan Kiraç Collection. Delights of Kutahya, Istanbul, 1997, no.162, p.126.
