The lid with an oval plaque depicting a landscape with Christ crucified to the centre, St Francis to the right and a bearded male saint to the left, a monogram of the Raimondi family encircled by a wreath at the bottom; the body with twelve further plaques of the apostles; the interior with two paper labels one inscribed 'from the late Poniatowski Gallery'; the underside with a further exhibition label; the giltwood casket later; on eight gilt-metal feet; damages, repairs and restorations
