Of broad shallow form with a short off-set rim and an integral hollow ring foot, engraved on the exterior with a partially-legible nine-line inscription in Akkadian cuneiform designating the bowl as a votive gift to the gods Enlil and Sîn by a donor, for the life of Iddin-Sîn, King of Simurrum, a kingdom in the western Zagros, reading in part: "[For the life of] Iddin-Sîn, mighty male,...Enlil and Sîn,...to/for Ku...uk, son of...ir, he gave"
