The case surmounted by an urn flanked by foliate scrolls, the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, signed LEMERLE-CHARPENTIER & CIE/Bronziers/PARIS/8 Rue Charlot, the twin barrel movement with Brocot escapement and rack striking to bell, the back plate stamped LEMERLE CHARPENTIER FONT DE BRONZE, 84 PARIS within an oval, also with Japy Freres trade stamp; with pendulum and key, together with a pair of conforming six-light candelabra en suite
