Comprising Qur'an VI, sura al-an'am, Arabic manuscript on paper, 13ff. plus 6 fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll. of neat black naskh, gold roundel verse markers, text panels within thick gold rules, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, colophon with later gold naskh attribution to Shaykh Hamdullah and date of 900, previous colophon deliberately rubbed, later notes and erased stamps on fly-leaves, in brown morocco with flap decorated with central stamped cusped medallions filled with floral vine and outlined in gold, the red doublures plain
