The square section flask tapering to neck and with later flaring metal mouth, the white ground decorated in cobalt-blue, green, bole-red, yellow and black with a series of yellow leaves alternated with floral sprays, the decoration on each side bordered with a thin black line, the shoulder with similar colourful floral motifs, the underside with old collection label
7¾in. (19.7cm.) high, including mouth

The form of this flask is very unusual. The yellow leaves are similar to green leaves which adorned the side of jug, formerly part of the same collection which sold in these Rooms, 25 April 2013, lot 244.
