AN UNUSUAL PALE CELADON JADE QIN-FORM BOX AND COVER

Finely carved as a qin partially wrapped in a ribbon-tied brocade covering that is folded down to expose a section of the strings and the upper end of the instrument, the design continuing down the sides and across the base where part of the underside of the qin including the bracket feet are exposed, the semi-translucent stone of even pale celadon tone
6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) long
