Oh! What A Lovely War marked the directorial debut of Richard Attenborough in 1969. The star-studded cast included names such as Dirk Bogarde, John Gielgud, Laurence Olivier, John Mills, Ralph Richardson and three Redgraves: Corin, Michael and Vanessa.
