The Isrealites gathering mannah in the wilderness

The attribution has been suggested by Frans Baudouin. He compares the present lot with the picture, signed and dated 1633, of the meeting of Jacob and Esau, in the Museum Maagdenhuis in Antwerp. (E. Duverger, David Teniers der Altere, 1971, p.76, afb.35). His certificate, dated 27 April 2001, is available to the purchaser.
