There are numerous versions of the present picture, including those at Kassel (no. 659), the Louvre, Paris (no. 1750), and formerly in the Adolphe Schloss collection, Paris.

This picture is sold with photocopies of certificates from Robert Eigenberger, Vienna, dated 1941 and Horst Gerson, dated Rome, 18 March 1977, as by Rembrandt.
