Gothic types, greek type on 10/5, 54 lines and headline, double column, printed shoulder notes, 3- to 8-line initial spaces with printed guide-letters. (Marginal tear to 2a7 just into text, small marginal paper flaw in C5 and EE4, lower corners frayed in final few quires, a few occasional spots.) Contemporary Nuremberg calf over wooden boards, tooled in blind with Laubstab, rosettes, pierced heart and other tools, spine compartments diapered and with some tools repeated (lacking clasps, some wear with loss of leather, lower corner and spine ends  a a little defective). Provenance: early inscriptions on rear pastedown, occasional marginal manicules.
