Instructions for Surgeons-Superintendent on board Convict Ships proceeding to New South Wales, or Van Dieman's Land; and for the masters of those ships. London: W. Clowes & Sons for H.M.S.O., 1846. 8° (235 x 147mm). Half-title. 1 folding letterpress table. (Some browning and spotting.) Contemporary calf gilt, covers tooled with centrally-placed oval stylised wreath containing an anchor and curling rope, two black morocco lettering-pieces to spine (rebacked, original spine laid down, scuffed and somewhat soiled).
