BLACKFEET DAGGER CASE
Of tapering form, sinew sewn beads on buffalo hide with a section of beadwork at either end, the stepped double tipis in pink with translucent dark blue steps on a light blue field separated by an unbeaded section with a thin winding line of yellow and translucent dark blue connecting the beaded sections. The pointed end has two flared tabs and a stepped diamond motif in yellow with translucent dark blue steps and a rectangular bar at either end of the diamond. The perimeter of the bag is beaded in pink.
23½ x 5 in. (59.7 x 12.7 cm.)
