Executed circa 1915.

According to Michael Frost and Douglas Allen, a total of twelve casts of the Big-Horn SHeep were supposedly produced. The Griffoul Foundry created the early versions of the big horn. These were solid sand castings as opposed to Roman Bronze Works's lost wax casting. (Majesty & Wilderness: Works by Carl Rungius, New York, 1985, pp. 25, 30)
