Nicoll, 1806. 4° (319 x 244mm.), 49 hand-coloured aquatint plates by Hassell, Medland and others after Gold, one uncoloured aquatint in text. (Some marginal soiling to plates and text, a few plates lightly spotted.) Contemporary straight-grained black morocco, spine gilt, covers gilt and blind tooled (rebacked preserving original spine, extremities rubbed and bumped). Provenance: AUTHORIAL PRESENTATION COPY (inscription dated 24 July 1812 to:) -- Emily W Macleod.
