Tasting note: For some time now formidably good but not as fashionable as Montrose or Cos. Good colour but not opaque; sweet fruit, whiff of strawberry; very sweet, full of fruit, laden with tannin - as all good St. Estèphes should be, and delicious. An outstanding Calon (*****) 2015 -2030. Last tasted April 2006 M.B.
