Tasting Note: An amber edge to this wine's dark garnet/ruby color suggests approaching maturity. A fragrant, sweet nose of minerals, cherry jam, smoke, earth, cedar, and vanilla is enticing. Medium to full-bodied, with fabulously sweet fruit, a viscous texture, yet vibrant underlying acidity as well as surprising tannin and length, this is the greatest Canon produced over the last thirty years.
