Château Haut-Brion, Blanc--Vintage 2000
Pessac (Graves), cru classé. Château-bottled
In original wooden case
Tasting note: Though still slightly hazy on the nose, the wine was showing considerable character and depth. Not the often austere style but sweeter, softer and fleshier than the Ch Laville-Haut-Brion. Attractive. Considerable potential. Tasted in the company of Count Robert de Luxembourg, Joan de Mouchy's son (now managing director) and the imperturbable 'rock-of-ages' Jean Delmas at Ch La Mission Haut-Brion, March 2001 (****). Say 2005-2020
