A SUPERB PRIVATE COLLECTION OF RARE WINES, INCLUDING MANY VINTAGES OF MOUTON-ROTHSCHILD FROM 1874 to 2003 AND MANY OTHER FINE WINES FROM EUROPE AND THE NEW WORLD
The following lots 1 to 206 represent a true collectors cellar. Compiled over the last twenty years by the current owner - a very knowledgeable northern, European gentleman - it is clear that his passion lies with Bordeaux and in particular Mouton-Rothschild. Highlights include many rare and highly desirable vintages from the 20's, 30's and 40's, including the outstanding 45 vintage. Also on offer are many wines from classic recent vintages including a rare jeroboam of the famed 2000. The collection is broad and offers buyers a chance to purchase many small and mixed lots from classic vineyards. A smattering of cult classics from around the globe are also featured including Grange and Opus One. The cellar concludes with a small offering of another of the clients passions - a superb range of rare malt whisky.
All lots have been removed from a temperature and humidity controlled cellar in northern Europe and are now lying in Weybridge, Surrey (EHD)
