'Chummy', a Merrythought teddy bear
with golden mohair, deep amber and black glass eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, webbed paw claws, brown felt pads and label stitched to right foot pad --15in. (38cm.) tall, 1950s (pads recovered, loss of mohair to face and overall body); and another Merrythought teddy bear, with pale golden mohair, deep amber and black glass eyes, clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, webbed paw claws, felt pads and label stitched to left foot pad --10in. (25.5cm) tall, 1950s (small bald patch to left side, slight overall wear)
