Sir John Mordaunt, 7th Bt.(c. 1734-1823), who was Member of Parliament for Warwick, married Elizabeth, daughter and co-heir of Thomas Prowse, of Axbridge, Somerset, in 1769. Three of their daughters are shown here: Catherine, the eldest of the three, married Rev. Francis Mills of Barford, Warwickshire, in 1811; Charlotte married Richard Hippisley Tuckfield of Fulford, Devon, in 1800 and died in 1848; and Susan, the youngest, married William, 2nd Earl of St. Germans, as his fourth wife in 1814 and died in 1830.
