Lot Essay

The design on the recto of this sheet appears to be a design for the tomb of a bishop of the Paci family. The studies on the verso seem to depict the choir and facade of the 'oservansa' church, as indicated by the inscriptions, which might refer to the Basilica dell'Osservanza which is located in the outskirts of Siena.
