PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION, EUROPE (LOTS 1 - 4)The owner of this private collection assembled a diverse collection of classical and modern paintings over the past century. Most of the Chinese modern paintings were acquired directly from the artists, while the classical paintings were acquired during the first half of the 20th century. In addition to the four paintings in this sale, a further 6 classical works will be offered in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, Hong Kong, (LOTS 876-881) on 30 November 2021, 8 works in Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, Hong Kong, (LOTS 1146-1153), 30 November 2021, and 6 works in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, Hong Kong, (Lots 1667-1672), from 15 November to 1 December 2021.

Première inscription par Xu Yongyi (1826-1900) avec quatre cachets, daté du sixième mois de l'année dingyou, correspondant à 1897 ; Seconde inscription de Sun Yuwen (1833-1899) avec un cachet, datée du septième mois de l'année dingyou, correspondant à 1897.
Dix-neuf cachets de collectionneurs.
