Half-title, folding lithographic plate, 32pp. of publisher's advertisements at end. (Spotted, short marginal tear.) Original green cloth, gilt spine by Edmonds and Remnants, with ticket at end (short tear at head of spine, light splits at hinges and within text block). Provenance: Edward Freestone, solicitor of Norwich (c.1874; lived at South Elmham, brother-in-law of the botanist John Lindley; inscription, one pencil note, note at end on Henshaw discussing variation) -- Baron Nathaniel Lindley (1828-1921; son of John Lindley and nephew of Freestone; armorial bookplate).
