Bottled from demi-john in 2018. New wax capsule with original Sercial seal. Stencilled bottle. Level: into-neck
Tasting note: High toned nose of straw and fudge. Perfumed with nice aromas of flowers appearing with time in the glass, followed by peachy fruit and salty tones. Very nice concentration with fine aromas and slight alcohol touch noticeable. Quite expressive.
Strong deep taste, mouth filling, high toned with soft lingering after taste. Great strength of a clearly long cask aged Madeira. Strong Sercial of high quality. Honestly I have a personal crush on old Sercial and this has become one of my favorites. March 2018. EV.
