Persian manuscript on paper, two of the panels on gold illuminated paper with nasta'liq quatrains written on the diagonal surrounded by further small lines of nasta'liq; another folio with 14ll. of neat stepped nasta'liq in clouds reserved against a ground of floral illumination, the reverse with a European grisaille depiction of the crucifixion; a fifth with 3ll. of elegant nasta'liq alternated with panels of smaller nasta'liq within polychrome floral illumination and between cream margins with gold flora and fauna illumination, all of the folios between polychrome rules and minor borders on gold-illuminated or speckled pink or marbled margins, four laid down on card, minor staining and scuffing

Two of these folios are signed, by Imad al-Din Muhammad Golestaneh, and Fath ibn Asfar (dated AH 1109/1698-99 AD). A third is dated, AH 1021/1612-13 AD

'Imad al-Din Muhammad Golestaneh may refer to the same scribe recorded as 'Ala al-Din Muhammad Golestaneh who died in AH 1126/1714-15 AD, and who is recorded in Mehdi Bayani, Ahval va Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol. III, Tehran 1346 sh., p.827.
