Dr. Francis Cabu was a professor of Archeology at the University of Liege, Belguim. He devoted his later years to the study of the Belgian Congo where he became a prominent author, photographer and ethnographer. His photographic or archeological collections were left to the Musee Leopold II, Lubumbashi (Musée Cabu) in 1946.
