The Belgian Congo: a portfolio of Cabu's photographs, the majority of the Congo, including signed photographs of the Belgian royal family, the clergy, the Belgian Apostolic delegate and other missionaries, interiors of mission buildings and views and portraits taken at Leopoldville, Kinsuka, Ndolo and environs; with a printed paper portfolio by Cabu containing unbound plates titled 'Contribution a L'Étude de la Répartition des Kwés au Katanga' (Annales du Musée du Congo Belge, Tervuren ), Brussels, 1938.

Dr. Francis Cabu was a professor of Archeology at the University of Liege, Belguim. He devoted his later years to the study of the Belgian Congo where he became a prominent author, photographer and ethnographer. His photographic or archeological collections were left to the Musee Leopold II, Lubumbashi (Musée Cabu) in 1946.
