Group exhibitions include: Freeze, Surrey Docks, London, 1988; Unbound: Possibilities in Painting, Hayward Gallery, London, 1994; Turner Prize, Tate Gallery, London, 1996; Sensation, Royal Academy of Arts, London, 1997; Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2011, London, 2011; Here, There and Somewhere In Between, Royal Academy at Hatfield House, London, 2013. He was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 1996 and won the Jerwood Prize, 1997. He lives in London and Accord, New York.
