A 1960 Gibson ES335 guitar, serial number A 35714, in a sunburst finish; doublecutaway body, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, two PAF humbucking pickups, four controls, selector, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stud tailpiece and long pickguard; and brown case.

Lot Essay

This guitar was featured in Richard Chapman's book The Complete Guitarist, Dorling Kindersley, 1993, and is illustrated on the cover. It is one of only 405 Sunburst examples from 1960.
