This drawing appears to be an early sketch for Sirani’s monumental Feast in the House of Simon the Pharisee from 1652, a painting in the church of San Gerolamo della Certosa in Bologna (fig. 1; see E. Negro et M. Pirondini, La Scuola di Guido Reni, Modena 1992, pp. 367, 369, fig. 360).

Ce dessin semble être une première esquisse pour le monumental Festin dans la maison de Simon le Pharisien de Sirani exécuté en 1652, une peinture de l'église de San Gerolamo della Certosa à Bologne (fig. 1 ; voir E. Negro et M. Pirondini, La Scuola di Guido Reni, Modena 1992, pp. 367, 369, fig. 360).
