GRANTS OF ARMS -- FERDINAND III (1608-1657), Holy Roman Emperor. Document signed, Pressburg, 6 April 1647, a grant of arms to the Rader brothers, Martin, Matthiaß, Elisauß and Josua, the first line in calligraphic display script, central panel, 155 x 120mm, in colour and liquid gold with the achievement of arms of the recipients, in Latin on vellum, one membrane, 610 x 765mm (some dampstaining and erosion at folds; lacking seal);

Document signed, Rhuenenberg, 20 June 1597, a grant of arms under imperial authority to Job Rader, first line in calligraphic display script infilled with interlaced patterning which extends to border the text, central panel, 136 x 97mm, in colour and liquid gold with the achievement of arms of the recipient, in Latin on vellum, one membrane, 485 x 670mm (acidification of ink leading to some losses and weaknesses at folds; remnants of silk thread but lacking seal).
