Collation: a-d8 ef6 g-s8 t6 v-z8 A-M8 N6 (a1 title printed in red, a2r text, N5r colophon, N5v-6 blank). 274 leaves. 86 lines (variable) of commentary surrounding text, double column. Type: 15:92G (text), 16:71G (commentary), 17:170G (title and headlines). Woodcut lombard initials, paragraph marks, headline, title, colophon and rubrics printed in red. 7-line initial spaces opening each book, some with guide-letters, left blank. (Small wormholes in first and final few quires affecting some letters, few stains on first 3 leaves, some sections censured by blacking out.) Sixteenth-century pigskin over wooden boards, blindstamped with rolls, paper shelfmark spine labels, 2 brass fore-edge catches, green edges (some worm-tracking in pastedowns and flyleaves). Provenance: Buxheim, Carthusians, inscription and stamp.
