Oblong and on four fluted scroll feet, the cover double hinged, one side fitted with silver covers for two glass jars, with drop ring handles, engraved on the cover with the Royal arms and inside with an inscription, contained in a fitted blue velvet lined red leather covered case, marked underneath, on side, on handles and on each cover, the base further stamped 'R. & S. GARRARD & CO. HAYMARKET . LONDON', the case labelled 'GARRARD & CO. LTD. Goldsmiths & Jewellers TO THE CROWN 25, HAYMARKET STREET LONDON'

The inscription reads 'George of Teck on the occasion of his confirmation from his godfather George R.I., January 1913.'
The Royal arms are those of George V (r.1910-1935).
