The majority of the metalcuts belong to the Pigouchet-Vostre set 3, with the exception of the Apostles at the Fountain (set 5) and Job on his dungheap (set 4). Davies characterised the cuts in this set as 'distinguished by their finer finish, cross-hatching and criblée grounds in most of them, and the profusion of detail, the style showing Renaissance influence' (p.278). The Adoration of the Magi and the Presentation in the Temple are not listed by Davies for this set, but appear to belong to it stylistically (as do the aforementioned cuts from sets 4 and 5). Not in Lacombe; Bohatta 836; Moreau-Renouard I, 111.
