gouache heightened with gold on papier mache, lacquered, possibly a board from a binding or a box, a couple sit against cushions as dancers and musicians perform before them, inscription cartouche border, verso with maroon ground painted with gold scrolling leafy sprays -- 29 x 43.5cm.
