Cal. 751B nickel-finished lever movement, 39 jewels, silvered dial, applied baton, Arabic and dagger numerals, luminous hands, outer five minute divisions on raised black chapter ring, three openings to the lower part revealing a set of red chronograph levers, two apertures for 12 hour and 30 minutes registers, window for date, circular case, the chronograph functions activated by depressing the crystal at 12 o'clock (start/stop) or 6 o'clock (reset), locking device in the band, back centred by Aston Martin logo and secured by 10 screws, Jaeger-LeCoultre stainless steel deployant clasp with black PVD coating, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

With Jaeger-LeCoultre Certificate of Origin confirming the present watch to be number 491 of 500 examples in black titanium, Guarantee Certificate dated 10 March 2009 and AMVOX2 Chronograph booklet. Furthermore delivered with the original fitted grey and wooden presentation box, metal plaque engraved Limited Series specially handcrafted by Jaeger-LeCoultre for Aston Martin, outer packaging.

The push-piece-free AMVOX2 chronograph is the second stage in the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin: its functions are operated simply by pressing the sapphire crystal, at 12 o'clock for the start and stop functions, and at 6 o'clock to reset to zero. The heart of this ingenious and exclusive vertical-trigger chronograph lies in the red levers appearing through the dial opening revealing a wealth of amazing mechanical details.
