Half title, 2 engraved maps, one folding. (Light offsetting from maps, a few light spots.) Contemporary half calf (part of spine torn away, the rest almost detached, rubbed). FIRST EDITION.
With 2 defective works on Africa, Joannes Leo's De l'Afrique (Paris, 1830, vols. I, II and IV only, lacking vol. III) and Hugh Murray's Historical Account of Discoveries and Travels in Africa (Edinburgh, 1818, 2 vols., lacking A8 in vol. one). (6)
