A 6-line autograph poem entitled "Christmas", signed, beginning: "The bells of waiting Advent ring, The tortoise stove is lit again"; with a one-page typed letter from Betjeman's secretary on the poet's headed paper, dated 16th February 1981, in response to an enquiry about writing poetry, quoting Betjeman and countersigned by the poet (faded), both framed and glazed.
