The vendor of this lot worked in a London publishing firm, Sphere Books, in the early 1970s. Sphere Books published Yoko Ono's book Grapefruit, and John Lennon and Yoko Ono visited the firm's offices on business connected to the book. Unfortunately the vendor missed their visit due to illness but a colleague, knowing that she was a huge fan of Lennon's, obtained his signature on this album for her.
