INDENTJoseph Carceres served successively as Fire Force Commander at Hull and Bradford before being appointed Chief Officer of Lincolnshire (Lindsey) Fire Brigade from de-nationalisation of the service in 1948 until his retirement in 1959; during the same period he was also the Chief Officer of Lindsey Ambulance Service.
