Engraved title and portrait of the dedicatee Ferdinand III by C.Bloemaert, 14 plates, two maps, all folding, numerous woodcut illustrations and diagrams, many full-page (occasional light spotting or staining, several plates with old repaired tears at folds). 18th-century vellum, yapp edges (lightly stained, later? spine labels). Provenance: Library of the Premonstratensian Order at Louvain (contemporary inscriptions on titles dated 1698, partially deleted); each volume with full-page engraved plate of the arms of Flanders.
