FIRST DUTCH EDITION, FINELY COLOURED SET of this beautiful work on shells. It had previously been published in German (1757-1772) and French (1760-1773). Parts I to III are by Philip Ludwig Statius Muller (1725-1776), the remaining parts by Martinus Houttuyn.
