Lot Essay

Kobayashi Shoun exhibited similar vases at the 10th Teiten (Japan Imperial Exhibition) and the 13th Teiten in 1932. He then went on to exhibit at the 6th Nitten in 1950, the 8th Nitten in 1952 and the 9th Nitten in 1953.
